A Powerful Game I Love to Play

Feb 19, 2025

This summer I found myself walking around the living room of my place in the South of France, gazing outside as the warm summer air wafted in from the open patio door as I said aloud, "wouldn't it be nice if", followed by whatever I thought would be nice to have happen. Low and behold, these "wouldn't it be nice" daydream requests started becoming fulfilled at a pretty rapid pace. Like, same day fulfillments, 4 requests per day, etc. Blessings, miracles, fortuitous happenstance, whatever have you. In the moment I was pleasantly surprised and while I made this a habit at that time, I grew to expect my requests be met, and they really were.

I call this a game I like to play because it's fun, yet carries an element of truth and seriousness because in all games, it's nice to create the outcome we desire or create a win-win, depending on the type of game being played. It's also fun to dream up what would be nice, and then ask it out loud in a light, airy, happy way and then leave the request there - like you're placing a beautiful object on a mantel to just be knowing that your requests are being looked after if they carry the elements required to fulfill them.

I was reminded of the simplicity of this just this past Sunday when I woke up and said to myself, "today is a day that I am going to play the game". The game, as I call it, can be played everyday! Why not. Some days it's just not top of mind, but when it is and I'm in that zone, it's very easy (and fun). The things that come up are ideally ones that just flow out of you without having to think too much about it. Just think about what you want, and if you don't know what you want, that's a bigger topic. Join LE REVE Online Studio and on the inside there are very helpful questions and journal prompts that can walk you through this - and, there are also meditations and yoga nidras that will support you unlocking your subconscious mind where your deepest desires are waiting for you to awaken and discover them.

Back to the real-time use of this.

Looking back, it was the ease, honesty and clarity of the request I'd verbally spoken and put out there. I often say, when you purify your heart (and commit to this process) life doesn't necessarily become easier, but it becomes more clear, and that clarity causes a ripple effect that indeed does - make life easier and more pleasant. The thing about making these requests is that you have to actually want them. Not a lukewarm decision, but an actual decision. Making a definitive decision is something that speeds things up. Not to say that you can't change your mind, but to get the ball rolling, you need to make a decision.

A reminder that the more grace and ease (and heart and honesty) in which applied to near anything yields the most miraculous results.
